He noted that he had seen the bird in the same area in the AM. This was north of Oland Rd. between Rt 85 and New Design. Thanks Tracey for your persisitence. To help in the search I wanted to use the FRS radio but found only one other person with a radio, Jim Staz. Nonetheless, Jim has a good suggestion that I think should be propogated--use Channel 5 when birding. That way if someone is in the area, within range and has their radio on, they will hear you and be able to coordinate searches.
