He covers the Irish Grove M.O.S. Sanctuary on the Chrisfield Christmas Count and usually has a few folks to help cover the area. It is one of the most birdy spots in the state, and he usually gets over 80 species. Exciting birds such as Sedge Wren, Sharp-tailed Sparrows, and Le Conte's Sparrow have been seen. This year, all his regular help has become unavailable, and he would like to solicit help from Ospreyers. The count is the 27th (wednesday). There will be a tally in Salisbury afterwards, with food provided, and there are free accommodations at the Irish Grove Sanctuary. Anyone interested should call his son's house in Salisbury (301-341-6761) and leave a message, either with a human or on the machine. Thanks for any positive responses. danny bystrak ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
