As usual, Daryl Olsen, Norm and Fran Saunders and I did the center area. Our day was very much like yours although Norm and I did find the only three Screech-owls on the count. Otherwise, the best we can claim is a dozen Myrtle Warblers and a Catbird. We missed a lot of common birds including both vultures, robin and all blackbirds. Despite our ho-hum results, many interesting species were reported at the tally. The highlights as I remember them are Double-crested Cormorant Red-breasted Merganser White-fronted Goose Harris' Sparrow Vesper Sparrow Brewer's Blackbird I have no information on the details of any of these sightings (locations, for example). You'll need a more official report for that.
