We were among the many who enjoyed the Snowy at New Design and Doubs Roads yesterday, but, splashing around in the puddle like a sparrow (sp), it certainly wasn't what I would call elegant or majestic. With the head-ducking, wing-splashing, and butt-flopping, it was more like low comedy. Anyway, a good time was had by all (especially the owl). With the falling temperature and gusty wind, isn't it lucky (for the birders anyway) that the rain stopped before the owl appeared?
