All birds were seen in the Arboretum. Here are a few sightings of note: 1 American Woodcock 1 Barred Owl 2 Great Horned Owls (no comments on where the owls where, except that one sat out in the open for quite a while, oblivious to the mobbing crows) 2 Gray Catbirds 5 Eastern Towhees Otherwise it was about what one would expect on a wet and cold morning - lots of Golden-crowned Kinglets (13), and a few Ruby-crowneds (7), very good numbers of White-throats (64) and Juncos (59), but not a lot of other sparrows, 3 Hermit Thrushes. I didn't see any Am. Robins or E. Bluebirds, and only 1 Cedar Waxwing - not sure where they were. I didn't see any Red-breasted Nuts, but another party found one. When do we get to read your trip report to the Caribbean?
