I probably won't even try to look for the SO ... seeing that kind of birder behavior will just take the joy out of the whole experience. Someone posted the ABA code of ethics. A great reminder. But it will only reach the people on MDOSPREY, and the VA list (assuming someone posts a reminder there as well). Since birding has become such a popular hobby in recent years, I wonder if an article about birding ethics in some of the more popular magazines would be useful? I don't subscribe to birding magazines, and don't belong to national birding organizations, so I don't know if this issue (ethics) has been covered recently. If some of the more seasoned and experienced birders are willing to take on this sensitive subject, and need a ghostwriter for some anonymous editorial support, I'm willing to help . Have a good holiday. - shireen -- Shireen Gonzaga Baltimore, MD whimbrel@home.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
