At the Visitor Center here in Laurel where I volunteer, we occassionally see evidence (eg. the powdery outline) of a collision on the tinted, reflective (for energy efficiency) windows aroun= d the buildling. We do have raptor cut-outs taped on the windows, but maybe not enough. --Rudy -------------------------------------- >From: Frank Boyle >Reply-To: Maryland Birds & Birding >To: MDOSPREY@HOME.EASE.LSOFT.COM >Subject: [MDOSPREY] Bird-Window collisions >Date: Sun, 24 Dec 2000 12:04:49 -0500 > >Rudy, > >The only way to prevent bird-window collisions is to eliminate or "break >up" the reflection in the window.
