Mo. Co., today. (Our attempt - to the point of car loaded with scopes etc. -- yesterday came to a screeching halt when the "light snow flurries" predicted ended up to be 2" of snow, and very poor visibility!) We got to Hughes about 2 pm. In any case, to make a long story short, we didn't see the bird and neither did quite a few other folks, some of whom had been out there (off and on) since morning. Of course that doesn't mean a lot -- Northern Shrikes are notorious for ranging widely and "disappearing" for hours on end. If anyone sees the bird tomorrow, -- we can't go out, unfortunately -- please post to MDosprey.
