We have 128 species and one possible new species. DC is a bit behind, probably because many common species have not been reported, even though I suspect they have been seen. DC has only 36 species plus 1 possible new one, for 11.6% of the official list. All reports received through 1/6 are included. Due to length you will have to access the pages via the web site, but they are easily found through the index page. One other note: the list would be more useful if some reporters could submit additional details about the locale of their sightings. This is especially true of some species taken off Xmas Count lists (Bowie!). Corrections/additions are always welcome. My thanks to Norm for creating the Excel templates that now nearly automate creation of the lists! All we need now is a robot to type the sightings!
