While I've used it a lot in a short period of time, I tend to be= very careful in handling my books, so I don't feel like I'm the problem.= This is intended to be a field guide and should hold up to continual use= . Jim Stasz also saw the bird and confirmed that it is a Whooper Swan, and not a Bewick's race of Tundra Swan. With the recent posts regarding specials on the Sibley Guide, I thought that I should mention that I have seen the guide for 40% off at t= he SuperCrowns in both Laurel and Bowie. I'm not sure about other stores, b= ut it may be worth a check. At this price, I bought myself a second copy, = as the binding is beginning to crack on my first. Have other people been having this problem with the binding, or is it as my wife says, I just ha= ve the book open too much?
