We were very pleased with them for several years until we took them on a (rough) pelagic trip. Be warned: they aren't waterproof, or even water- resistant. They fogged up, and eventually got (salt!) water inside so that they had to go back to Swift for complete cleaning (which was rather reasonable in cost, as I recall). Also, they aren't as rugged as more expensive binocs - easily knocked out of adjustment. (I'm kind of rough on binocs I guess.) We still have them as loaners, and occasionally use them ourselves, although we have (waterproof) Swarovskis now.
