We found a female King Eider off the southern end of the causeway on the bay side at Pt. Lookout State Park. It was in a large raft of ducks that were predominately Surf Scoter, but also contained Black Scoter, White-winged Scoter, Canvasback, Common Goldeneye, Oldsquaw, Bufflehead, Red-breasted Merganser and Ruddy Duck. Scaup were farther out into the bay. Other species of note were Great Cormorant, four fly by Common Merganser and a House Wren.
