Where? Hi Phil, the next day we were shocked to find that there was an "invasion" of Ravens with widespread reports across the state. When I returned home I was a chagrined to find out that my non-birding spouse had quite good looks at Ravens here in Howard county! > > Ravens in MD are reviewable if seen "south or east" of Frederick County > (i.e., in or east of Montgomery or Carroll Counties). I doub't that you will be able to use many of the write-ups on these sightings. I noticed that most of the observers were lax in their note taking. Some were not even making good use of their binoculars! I personally only got some brief glimpses of the birds so unfortunately my documentation will be poor. I did however hear their vocalizations quite well. They were "Woof Woof". > > Bonnie Ott Howard County ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
