Other raptors were several Bald Eagles (mainly immature), and about 5 = Northern Harriers. Also seen at Blackwater were 1 Brown-headed Nuthatch, 1 = Pine Warbler, 1 Hermit Thrush, 1 Swamp Sparrow, 3 immature Black-crowned = Night herons, and most of the other usual landbirds (kinglets, yellow-rumps= , Horned Larks, meadowlarks etc.) Waterfowl seen were primarily Canada = Geese, 1 large flock of Snow Geese, hundreds of mallards and pintails, = with about 10 Shovelers, a few Ring-necked Ducks, and Black Ducks and 8 = Hooded Mergansers. Also a few flyover Tundra Swans. There were not that many ducks at the Choptank fishing pier, and most were = far off. But did get decent looks at Common Goldeneye and Bufflehead. At Sandy Point, we found two Long-tailed Ducks, a couple large rafts of = Scaup, as well as Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead and Canvasback. We did not = see any Snow Buntings, however we were only at Sandy Point for about 15 = minutes and mainly were searching the water.
