This was something I put off doing for some time, but the rapid expansion of the site has made it necessary now. In the days ahead, we will proceed with standardization and additional expansion. Why am I telling you this? If you have bookmarked pages for easy access, these are now likely broken links. The changes to the site are not cosmetic, and you will not, at this point, see anything different, but pages are not addressed as they were before. So, if you have a trusty bookmark, you will need to go back to the site and find it again. Sections that "stood alone," the Records Committee, DC Birds, etc., will have little or no changes at all. I urge all of you to make use of the sitemap, the various indices (reached through the green buttons) and the icons on the home page until you have found your way around again. You may also like to use the site map and indices to see the wide variety of resources that are available to you on the site. As always, anyone with an idea for a new section is welcome to talk to me about it offlist. Undoubtedly some problems will arise, please let me know if you find ANYTHING that does not work as it should.
