MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Folks, This afternoon (Wed., 31 Jan), a pair of N. Pintails was at the west end of Centennial Lake, near the Centennial Lane bridge. Most of the water is still frozen at this end of the lake, but there are a few open areas in which the ducks were swimming, while a few hundred Canada Geese stood on the ice. The other end of the lake, now mostly thawed, hosted the usual assortment of ducks: two dozen Redheads, half a dozen Canvasbacks, a couple dozen Ring-necks, and a nice pair of Hooded Mergs.
