MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi All: A beautiful spring like day to be about!! It would appear that the county, at least where I was, has been largely deserted by waterfowl. Bethel WMA was host to one TUNDRA SWAN, and not much else. Likewise along the C & D canal from south Chesapeake City, nadda. There were some COMMON MERGS at the yacht basin. I spotted several KESTRELS and an immature BALD EAGLE in the Stemmers Run area, more COMMON MERGS on the river here. Several TUNDRA SWANS flew over here as well. Grove Neck did have ~ 3 dz HOODED MERGS alternately flaring and compressing their crests. RING-NECKED DUCKS were here as well. More COMMON MERGS at Mt. Harmon plantation and a pair of adult BALD EAGLES. It was nice to hear BLUEBIRDS singing.
