We found the sandhill crane in a field on the east side of the road in pasture with a flock of geese. The pasture was between the field where Patty Craig saw it and the field where Marshall Iliff found it. It was about mid-afternoon, with good light. Used a Kowa scope and got excellent views. Good birding!
