This was my = first occurence of CLRA since the new year. Also heard the screech of = the BARN OWL which may have triggered the response of the Clappers. The = BLSW are still being seen daily and today for the 1st time I observed = them on the eastside of the Island as we were towing the oil barge back = from Crisfield. Both birds flushed when we were within 20 yards or so = and I had the opportunity to see the white wing linings in detail for = the 1st time. I dont have any information on identifying by sex , = however these two birds show definite differences in body shape, flying = posture, and size, which leads me to believe this is a possible mated = pair. Anyone with reference material who would be willing to share = sources would be appreciated.
