MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi All: I received a call from a very enthused Marcia Whitmyre at 2 PM who reported that the waters off Perryville Community Park were " wall to wall ducks. " Conditions of high winds and rough waters on the rivers are identical to mid-winter count day; it seems that waterfowl seeks calmer waters in the cove of Mill Creek Marcia estimated ~ total of 3,000 ducks, with at least 1/2 being CANVAS BACK, the largest raft she said, that she had ever seen there. Also ~ dozen RED HEAD DUCKS were mixed in. The next largest group were RING-NECKED DUCK. She also reported AMERICAN WIGEON, GREEN-WING TEAL, BUFFLEHEAD, GOLDENEYE, both SCAUP species, GADWALL, COMMON MERG and TUNDRA SWAN.
