The highlights of our weekend of course included the Razorbills at the inlet and the Le Conte's and Clay Colored Sparrows at North Vaughn, along with the Golden Eagle at the same location. Monday morning we stopped at Blackwater on our way home where we saw a pair of Dickcissels in a hedgerow along the entry road, near a flock of 20-30 American Pipits. Our most notable dip was the Sandhill Crane on Kent Island. Of note, something I've never seen at Ocean City prior to this, was a harbor seal nosing along the rocks of the south jetty, seen by us and by Marshall Iliff on Sunday afternoon. All in all, this was a most pleasant weekend! Thanks to all who helped us find the good birds we saw! ======================= Norm Saunders Colesville, Montgomery County, MD marshhawk@worldnet.att.net ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
