Also a pair of bald eagles soaring in the sunlight. This weekend I also achieved a personal birding goal. Driving down to Bethesda from my home on Long Island, I finally saw a bald eagle fishing while I was riding over the Susquehanna River bridge. Ever since I saw eagles at the Conowingo dam and knew that they were on the Susquehanna, I have wanted to see them at the bridge. I drive over the bridge much more often than I get to the dam. Hooray for my Tahoe, that let me sit high enough to see over the railing on the bridge. S.
