Birds were fairly sparse but I did get an Eastern Phoebe feeding just to the east of the Christmas tree farm and on the northern side of Minebank Run. Bluebirds, cardinals and goldfinches were the most plentiful and there were occasional mockingbirds, red-bellied woodpeckers, song sparrows, white-throated sparrows, blue jays and crows. One flock of approx. 20 juncos was seen. A number of the goldfinches had decidedly brighter throats.
