The Canvasback pair and Ring-necks are stll hanging out. The HOODED MERGANSERS are beyond delightful! There were close to a dozen males all decked out and displaying to 3 females. I watched them for quite awhile this morning and was able to hear them "purring" to the ladies. They would puff their necks out and tilt their heads back and forth, their crests fully fanned. The females just meandered around dismissing the boys antics. One female COMMON MERG flew over and toward the dam end, didn't go down to see if she put down on the water though.
