Jett" Subject: Hermit Thrush MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Folks Yardbirds today included a single Hermit Thrush, a single Song Sparrow, a few Common Grackles, lots of Starlings eating up the peanut butter put out for the woodpeckers and nuthatches. Twenty Juncos, a dozen White-throated Sparrows, 8 Mourning Doves, 6 Bluejays, Tuftued Titmouse, Chickadee, 4 Cardinals, and 4 Crows so far added to activity in the back yard. Mostly Goldfinches (8) and house finches occupied the front feeder. The male Towhee has not been seen yet. The Merlin is still feeding in the Sycamore tree at EPA, Washington, D.C. as of yesterday. Good birding.
