Ross's Goose was with hundreds of Snow Geese still at the refuge. We parked at the Shorter's Wharf bridge parking lot and had two adult Golden Eagles and 2 dark phase Rough-legged Hawks soaring between 1and 2pm. Short-eared owls were down and not hunting during the day, today, but came up out of the marsh at 4:50pm and started sweeping the marsh.
