I'm writing an environmental policy paper on the mute swan situation in Maryland. I'd like to get some quotes from the birding community on what they think of the mute swan management recommendations, the swan as a part of a larger invasive/exotic species concern, and whether enough science exists to begin wholesale destruction of swans. If you send me a response, be forewarned that I may use it in my paper, but it will only be read by a professor. I'd appreciate any insights, Kari Cohen--karibc@wam.umd.edu >======================================================================= >To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com >with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey >======================================================================= _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
