The wind turned toward the south and the temperature warmed to 68 degrees, convincing 59 Turkey Vultures, 3 Black Vultures, 1 Red-shouldered Hawk, and 3 Red-tailed Hawks to migrate past the Fort. Counts were done on 6 other days in February and the results follow. Other significant flights have occurred for Red-winged Blackbirds and Ring-billed Gulls.
