Thank you Kevin - it was due to your postings here that we decided to have a look. We were not part of the BBC group, just on our own. We saw many of the birds Kevin already listed, but we did have two Osprey circling over Marshy Creek, seen from the canoe landing. They came in from the north, circled for a while right in front of us, vocalizing, then off to the far shore. Kevin, this was after we saw you and the BBC folks in the parking lot around noon. We thought our day was complete earlier when we were on the observation tower in the marsh west of Lake Knapp and an adult Bald Eagle flew across the marsh parallel to the boardwalk and fairly low, then off to the south to the trees on the edge of the marsh, but after the Osprey we knew it was time to go. We were beginning to feel greedy.
