I pulled over and found a dead female Ring-necked Pheasant. The bird was on Mackall Rd. about a mile from the entrance to Jefferson Patterson Park in Calvert County. Does anyone know of a pheasant reintroduction program going on in Calvert or if there is a local farmer raising pheasant?
