I have had Carolina Wren nests in bluebird boxes.

I have always had several, up to 9, different size nest boxes in the small
woods behind my house.  Carolina Wrens have never used any of them.  I been
told by people that they almost never use birdhouses, but will use any
number
of manmade structures.
