Shore on Sat., 10 March '01 netted the Orange-crowned Warbler at Blackwater NWR, found on the left side of the wildlife loop between stops 8 and 9, about 50 feet prior to a large lone pine tree, in some thickets. Ospreys are now occupying about half of the nesting platforms at the refuge. At OC inlet, a lone Laughing Gull stood among numerous Ring-bills and Herrings at the inlet parking lot. The full hood of the Laughing Gull was not quite solid black, appearing more slaty gray in color. No Razorbill was seen, despite about 45 minutes of searching.
