We went with them last year, and had a wonderful time. They enlist the services of Carlos (Charlie) Gomez, and ,as mentioned by an earlier posting, Charlie is surely one of the best for that country. Also, be sure to get a copy of the Guide to Birds of Costa Rica by Stiles, Skutch and Gardner. Skutch is a Baltimore boy who emigrated to Costa Rica many years ago. The ANS group tries to arrange a visit with him during their trips, though he is getting very much up in years. We managed to visit him last year and that was one of many highlights of the trip.
