I agree that with no key it can be confusing. I saw a 1st year Iceland Gull (ICGU) at OC Inlet on Saturday. Then On Sunday morning I saw an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull (LBBG) at Skimmer Island (aka 4th Street Flats). I saw an adult Laughing Gull at Greenbelt Lake on Monday morning before coming back to Morgantown via Frostburg. Before that, I saw a number of Common Mergs (Common Merganser) at Brighton Dam Monday morning (quite a nice collection). Oh and Tree Swallows on the Chicamicomico River in Dorchester County (while winging along Rt 50; I had to turn around and go back to confirm). Ospreys at a couple of spots too (eg. Choptank River Bridge and Nanticoke River Bridge). Good Birding. J.B. ======================================================== John B. Churchill, M.S.
