The Yellowthroat) of possible plans to "addle" the eggs of Mute Swans, pressed me to tell him exactly what addling is. My dictionary is of little help, defining addle (the verb form) as: "1. to become rotten. 2. to become confused". Can anyone help out with a more precise description of the process of addling so that my friend and I do not have our brains further addled? Harvey Mudd ____________________________________ S.
