Halpin" Subject: Layhill Park MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I went to Layhill this AM. Temp in the low 40's with a 10-15 mph wind. The ground was quite wet from the recent rain. Stream changes altered the crossings somewhat. Decent day but long stretches without birds-Field, Fox, Song, White-throated, Swamp Sparrows, Bluebirds, Grackles, Jays, tons of Robins, Mockingbirds, Red-shouldered Hawk, House Finch, Red-winged Blackbird, Flicker, Wood Duck, Mallard, C Geese. C Wren, Mo Dove, Crow and 7 Black Vultures (fairly reliable over the past months). It was also a 3 bag-trash day!
