After about 15 minutes I found the bird off the end of Peach Bottom Rd. This bird really is close to the MD border. I then decided to try Conowingo for a migrant Great Cormorant, no luck, but did get my first two Ospreys of the year carrying nesting material. Lapidum Landing was much better. 8 Horned Grebes, 20 American Wigeon, 500 Bonaparte's Gulls, 3 Red-breasted Mergs, and the highlight, 6 Surf Scoters and 3 Long-tailed Ducks. These birds were actively feeding in the river directly between Lapidum and Port Deposit.
