Rusty Blackbird seen by me and marty in front of the mansion and several hawks headed north seen well by 6 observers was the highlight of the day. 2 Mallard 2 Black Vulture 5 Turkey Vulture 1 Bald Eagle - not sure, behind trees 2 Sharp-shinned hawk 1 Cooper's Hawk 8 Red-tailed Hawk 1 American Kestrel 4 Ring-billed Gull 3 Rock Dove 6 Mourning Dove 2 Red-bellied Woodpecker 2 Downy Woodpecker 1 Northern Flicker 15 American Crow 6 Carolina Chickadee 5 Tufted Titmouse 1 White-breasted Nuthatch 1 Carolina Wren 41 American Robin 4 Northern Mockingbird 18 European Starling 4 Eastern Towhee 4 Northern Cardinal 1 Field Sparrow 16 Song Sparrow 8 White-throated Sparrow 8 "Slate-colored" Junco 2 Red-winged Blackbird 1 Rusty Blackbird 4 Common Grackle 2 Brown-headed Cowbird 14 House Finch 6 American Goldfinch Yesterday, BBC went to the Baltimore Zoo to see penguins, ducks, and zoolab animals. To the 13 people, it was a wonderful experience to observe this animals up close. We seen about 16-18 wild birds out of about 40 seen by me all day.
