It was a = great study since two were in breeding plumage and two in winter. There = was also a PIED-BILLED for comparison. A strange sighting was a single = TUNDRA SWAN at the wildlife end. There were the standard dozen = RING-NECKED DUCKS, BUFFLEHEAD and 3 LESSER SCAUP.=20 I flushed a COMMON SNIPE at the dam end pond. There were 2 pair of = WOOD DUCKS (gorgeous!) at the "wood duck pond" along with a single RUSTY = BLACKBIRD walking along the shoreline. A couple FOX SPARROWS and a = single SWAMP SPARROW were around the pond area also.
