We did NW Branch Park from our house (near Locksley Ln.) to Randolph Rd. Not too much about, but we saw a few nice birds, including: Female Sharpshinned bathing in the stream Red-shouldered Hawk possibly at nest site (from behavior) 5 Rusty Blackbirds at a vernal pool 4 Wood Ducks in same 50-60 Robins at same place 5 species of Woodpecker (Downy, Hairy, Red-bellied, Flicker, Pileated) 1 Fox Sparrow plus good numbers of Song and White-throats 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers plus the usual assortment of Chickadees, Tits, Cardinals etc. Lots of Gold- finches singing, very pleasant.
