Harmon & Grove Neck Sanctuary Trip Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii This Sunday, I will be leading the trip to Mount Harmon Plantation & Grove Neck Sanctuary. Mount Harmon is a restored eastern shore plantation and we'll be going there first. The plantation borders the tributaries of the Sassafras River. There should be bay ducks, dabbling ducks, other water birds and hopefully some early shore birds and passerines. At Grove Neck Sanctuary, we'll be looking for some spring migrants, in addition to our winter staple - ducks, ducks & more ducks (Oh for an Eared Grebe.). Meeting Place: Big Elk Mall, Dunkin Doughnuts Parking Lot. Because of limited parking at Grove Neck, I'm encouraging carpooling. My Isuzu Trooper is back in action and I'll have room for four birders. Time: 8:00 am (full day trip). Suggested equipment: boots, lunch, appropriate inclement weather cloth & a spotting scope. Conveniences: Some trees. Admission: None. Questions: email me. Note: This trip will involve walking. See ya - Parke. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
