Our faithful backyard LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH arrived on March 30, sang twice,
chipped a few times and hasn't made a sound since. Also 3 CASPIAN TERNS
returned to Jug Bay in the morning on the 31st of March.

There are still more than a dozen PINTAILS hanging around at Jug Bay Wetlands
Sanctuary, and a pair behind my house as of today (April 2). These are my
first April Pintails in 38 years of birding!

There are many GANNETS at Chesapeake and North Beach now. They should be
common until about the 10th or so. There are also unbelievable numbers of
HORNED GREBES.
