This message is posted for Rick Blom:

On April 5, 2001 at approximately 2:00 p.m., Rick Blom, Brian Monk, and
Bob Dixon observed a first-summer FRANKLIN'S GULL at Diamond Point
(Baltimore County). The bird was tiny, barely bigger than a Bonaparte's
Gull. It had a nearly complete hood. No Little Gulls were observed. There
were approximately 2500 Bonaparte's Gull present.
