I found one breeding adult at about 7:45 am and returned at about 11:30 am to see two breeding adults and one winter adult. I stopped in at the Waste Treatment Plant. When I checked in, the receptionist had me talk with an administrator who called my name in to the guard at the gate. The receptionist told me that if I wanted to come on a weekend when no one would be in the office, I should write a letter in advance so that the on-duty guard could be notified. For those interested in this procedure, here is the address she gave me: Nick Frankos Plant Manager Back River Waste Treatment Plant 8201 Eastern Blvd Baltimore, MD 21224 Mr. Frankos's phone is 410-396-9814 Other birds of interest this morning: a fly-over merlin one osprey one northern harrier one cooper's hawk at least three singing pine warblers two "yellow" palm warblers two blue-winged teal barn, tree, and northern rough-winged swallows Don Burggraf Baltimore _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
