It was very close to shore across from the China Harbor Restaurant. Parking is at a premium due to road destruction but it was=20 obvious even without using bins before I parked. The neck is nearly completely red and the chin is a dirty grayish. There are the starts of ear=20 tufts. The grebe is huge compared to any of the abundant Horned Grebes nearby. Good Birding!
