At the beach, I got great looks at a transitional plumage Common Loon and than a winter plumage Red Throated Loon. There were many Buffleheads, Horned Grebes, and one male Redhead. Two Osprey fished the waters and one caught a fish very close to me. I also saw a flyover Royal Tern. In the marsh and mudflat area on the other side of MD 261 I saw two Great Egrets, 1 Snowy Egret, many Green Winged Teal, 1 Greater Yellowlegs, 2 Mute Swans, and many Ring Billed Gulls.
