I = heard that there were also a couple at Marriotsville Rd.=20 Then we headed to Mt. pleasant (private property) in search of = LBJ's. Found 40+ SAVANNAHS along with many FIELD, SONG, WHITE-THROAT, = CHIPPY and SWAMP. The real prize however were two VESPER SPARROWS- = increasingly rare around here. We also had 4 PALM WARBLERS and a singing = BROWN THRASHER.=20 I also found 5 CASPIAN TERNS at Centennial park in the a.m., two of = the same flying over 29 and Broken land pkw.in the p.m. on the way to = find the BONAPARTE'S. Luckily they were still feeding at Elkhorn.=20 I will take anyone that is interested in the VESPERS tomorrow = morning. Meet me at the Woodstock Post office. (The intersection of rt. = 99 and Woodstock rd. ) this is just outside of Ellicott city. I will = LEAVE the lot at 7:00 a.m. sharp! I will look for the vespers for 45 = minutes and then head to centennial for the scheduled birdwalk.
