New arrivals this week were 1 Osprey, 10 Louisiana Waterthrushes (9 = singing), 5 Yellow Palm Warblers, 3 Yellow-throated Warblers (2 = singing), 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglets (1 singing), and 5 Rough-winged = Swallows. A Common Merganser on the river was unusual. Numbers of = Golden-crowned Kinglets were down from the past two weeks indicating = they are past the peak of their migration here. Winter Wrens numbered 6 = which is my high so far this season. Also seen were a pair of Coskrens = on the Howard County side.
