In-Reply-To: <85.974a82d.2803bf4e@aol.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Hi folks, Is there any way to evict a pair of starlings from a nest hole? A pair of Red-bellied Woodpeckers created a wonderful nest hole in a locust tree in our back yard. The hole was actually visible from our deck. The hole is about 25 feet up. The tree is very tall and most of its branches are significantly higher than the hole although there are a couple of very small branches near the hole. The starlings are using the branches as perches before entering the hole. The starlings moved in this week and muscled out the woodpeckers. Is there any way of discouraging this pair? I getting sick of hearing them as we normally don=92t get starlings in our yard. Thanks, Kathie Lambert Harwood, MD Kbert59@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
