They were also singing strongly all day today(4/10/01) as were the Blue-gray Gnatcatchers. Ovenbird was singing along Cabin Gut Marsh. On Tuesday April 10, I observed and/or heard Northern Parula and Palm Warblers, and Blue-gray Gnatcatchers along the Annacostia in Bladensburg at Dueling Creek Natural Area in Prince George's County. Pair of Bluebirds nesting in a hollow tree cavity along Dueling Creek in Colmar Manor. The first time in a quite a while that I have observed Bluebirds in a natural cavity. A pair of Osprey were working the Annacostia River along Bladensburg Marina. One flew by with a fish in it's talons. Does anyone know if they are nesting in the area?
